Dorie McCubbrey, PhD, MSEd, LPC, CEDS
Owner & Clinical Director of Positive Pathways
“Dr. Dorie” McCubbrey, MSEd, PhD, LPC, CEDS is the Creator of Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT)™ and EDIT™ Certified — which she developed as a result of her own journey of recovery from eating disorders. Dr. Dorie has a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Akron. This unique combination of credentials allows her to address the complex psychological issues which underlie eating disorders, as well as physical issues including nutrition, intuitive eating, fitness and body image. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Dr. Dorie has more than 20 years of clinical experience with all types of eating disorders. In addition, Dr. Dorie is in the processor becoming a Licensed Addiction Counselor, with a special interest in the treatment of Alcohol/Drug Abuse, which often co-occurs with eating disorders. Rebecca Sculley, MA, NCC, LPC
Specialist in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)Rebecca has a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver with an emphasis in Family Systems Therapy. As an EDIT™ Certified Counselor, Rebecca specializes in the treatment of mood disorders and addictions which often co-occurs with eating disorders. She is an expert in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is highly effective for the treatment of personality disorders, eating disorders and addictions. Rebecca guides clients with effective coping skills and mindfulness strategies, while also helping to address the root cause of addictive behaviors. She offers DBT groups on a regular basis, and also teaches DBT skills on a 1-on-1 basis. Rebecca also has expertise with couples counseling, family therapy, and LGBTQ issues. Share Holland, MA, LPCC
Eating Disorders & Intuitive EatingShare has a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. Share has 8 years of experience developing and applying counseling skills, and is currently completing training to become an EDIT™ Certified Counselor. She uses an integrative approach with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and neurobiology. By approaching therapy in a non-judgmental way, Share cultivates compassion for the client’s desire to feel safe, calm, connected, or loved. She believes eating disorder behaviors can be a way of coping that is no longer working, and by bringing awareness to the unconscious aspects of the eating disorder, Share helps clients discover the hidden wisdom in all of their actions. Beth Letourneau, MA, LPCC, RYT

Beth has a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the State of Colorado, and is completing the requirements to become an EDIT™ Certified Counselor. Beth has been treating eating disorders for more than 9 years and has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with all types of eating disorders. She volunteers at the Eating Disorder Foundation and is the Research Committee Chair of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Denver Metro Chapter. Beth is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and offers the option of incorporating mindfulness practices and therapeutic movement in sessions. An avid athlete herself, she enjoys working with clients who are athletes looking to create a positive relationship to fitness. Beth is whole-heartedly passionate about helping clients find an individualized, meaningful, and lasting recovery.

Whitney Geenen, MS, LPCC

Whitney has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she graduated with honors. Her specialties include the treatment of eating disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma/posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Whitney understands that recovery from an eating disorder is challenging and sometimes seems impossible, because she’s been there. However, she also knows that recovery becomes fully possible when you choose freedom over your disorder. As an EDIT™ Certified Counselor, Whitney combines her personal experience with cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their values on their path to long-term recovery. Janelle Hunt, MS, RD
Janelle has a Master’s Degree in Nutrition with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from Colorado State University. She specializes in working with men, women, and young adults who struggle with body image and who have unhealthy relationships with food. She has 13 years experience treating competitive athletes, women who are currently pregnant or actively planning a pregnancy, pre/post bariatric surgical patients, as well as a host of autoimmune conditions. Janelle helps adults, adolescents and children explore the root cause of harmful thoughts and behaviors surrounding eating and exercise. Janelle’s sessions provide individualized education to help clients understand their body’s own nutritional and exercise needs. Ashley Eyre, MA, LPCC
Eating Disorders & Art Therapy
Ashley has a Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Counseling program with a concentration in Art Therapy from Naropa University. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Physiology and Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with more than 4 years of clinical experience. As an EDIT™ Certified Counselor, Ashley empowers her clients to choose from traditional talk therapy for eating disorder recovery, or the integration of art therapy into sessions. She believes that the use of art materials in therapy sessions can serve to ground and center clients in their inner experiences. The art process itself can also provide deeper insights for healing that may be less accessible through talk therapy. Ashley guides her clients to discover their True Self, to enjoy complete recovery from eating disorders and their underlying issues.

Emily Johnson, MA

Emily has a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, and she is a Registered Psychotherapist in the State of Colorado with more than 10 years of clinical experience in the treatment of eating disorders and related issues. As an EDIT™ Certified Counselor, her specialty is working with Binge Eating Disorder, Food Addiction, Obesity, and Healthy Weight Loss. Emily guides clients to practice the principles of Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT)™, with an extra emphasis on Intuitive Eating and Intuitive Exercise. She has experience working with men and women of a range of ages, including adolescents. With her additional Master’s Degree in Counseling Ministries, Emily can guide clients in an exploration of spirituality in the recovery process. She can integrate Christian Counseling upon request.
